Hi! I don’t know if you expected me to write this much -clearly I didn’t- but I hope that you enjoy reading my weekly curations.
I tried to create a Writer’s Academia Aesthetic to write this blog, and I am enjoying it. I highly recommend romanticizing your work, I have different playlists for study, writing, painting, etc. They help me to get into different characters, and right now, I feel like I am an old writer from the 1800s, writing a newspaper article. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this week’s curations!
Wheel of Life
First, let’s start with reflecting on the past week with a new method. This is a method I learned from Ali Abdaal – I think -. I’ve been using this for the past few months and it really helped me to reflect on my life. The idea is that, to be happy and content with your life, you need to have an equal distribution of your time and effort for the areas of your life. (For a wheel to roll, it needs to have an equal radius from the central point.) For example, let’s say that you have three areas of your life that matter the most to you: Relationships, Career, and Kindness. After each week, you draw a circle and divide it into 3 (representing the 3 areas). Then you scale these areas from 1-5 according to the time and work you put into these areas. If they are equal to each other, then it means you maintained balance that week; if they are far apart, for example, if you have 1 for Relationships and 5 for Career, maybe it would be better to focus more on your relationships next week. I know this sounds confusing, but I’ll add one of my wheel of life’s for reference.

(The abbrevetions represent the 7 areas of my life that I value the most.)
Guided Meditations
I can’t think of a better way than meditating for relaxing and resetting for the new week. I usually meditate in the morning for fresh energy, and I wanted to share some of my favorites:
–Lavendaire Youtube Channel’s Meditations
–Headspace Netflix Document
Playlists For Different Aesthetics
And as I mentioned above, romanticizing your life gives you a new perspective and fresh energy for your task at hand. I want to share some of my favorites for different categories.
